More Citizens For Our Betterment Stuff…
Posted by pixie | Filed under Uncategorized
This is what happens when you have an obsessive mind, are still officially unemployed, and are waiting on something that is extremely important — you follow this stuff endlessly.
Here are the latest links:
Citizens For Our Betterment: click “data.” I’m pretty sure the first 100 might be filled, but they’re still taking addresses. I hope I get something. It’s nice to get cool mail/good news once in a while. “Media” also has a new picture on it - not sure what the deal with that is. “Exposes” and “Scandals” also brings you an old photo [that is still nice to see, mind you.]
And now it appears William Beckett [The Academy Is…] is in on it as well — check this out The Wiilliam Beckett Blog. It seems to have lyrics or something — plus a link to a new site, Run Right Back to the Art. At the moment, there isn’t much going on there, but I am sure at some point, there will be.
Clearly, there’s more to come… this is seriously the most interesting viral thing since NIN’s Year Zero, which was also really well done. Feel free to post any discoveries you make….
Oh, and — people seem to think Midtown might have something to do with this: so here’s their deal: they re-did their myspace, and there’s this video:
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?

I <333333 it so.
Click on the word exposes on cfob and you’ll see that Panic at the Disco’s in on it!!! Eeeep!
Sorry, I didn’t read over the whole thing first. *is totally behind today, school started to early for me to function*
i have been saying for sometime now that pete wentz will try to take over the world.
alas, it is coming
i just looked at the William Beckett Blog and he says he has no idea what’s going on and he didn’t right the lyrics titled ‘Citizens For Our Betterment?’ this is all so interesting!
This is by far the closest I’ve ever followed a viral campaign. I was all over the whole Pretty. Odd. Panic at the Disco puzzle thing earlier this year, but now I’m going slowly insane over this whole thing. It’s sad, I know but I’ve been checking over both cfob sites and I’ve been through the entire rrbtts maze. Well, the original cfob site was updated again today and it now reads “Are you sick of the way we treat our problems here? De-Tox just to Re-Tox? So are we. It’s time for a real solution. This message has been brought to you by Citizens for our Betterment and does not necessarily represent the views of the party or the candidate.” (very Pete Wentz) posted by “far away ranch echo” and the “action” button sends you to Carah Faye’s myspace, it’s set to private and hasn’t been logged on to since 12/21/07. Now, I’m [more] confused. The other cfob doesn’t have any changes, though.
*has no life*
Who is Carah Faye? I admit, this whole thing has got me intrigued…
Wait…*is an idiot*
So Shiny Toy Guns are in on this somehow, too?
he might just be sending false clues… just a thought
Aaaaaaaaah…ok, I just clicked on Pete Wentz’ name over the new post, and got this: “FOB, the return, November 4″.
